“The man who does not read good books is no better than the man who can’t.” – Mark Twain
New year, new start. That’s one of the things I love about the beginning of the year. To me, January is a month of preparing the year. Where other people jump right into the good habits and new lifestyle, I like the idea of having a month of thinking about what I actually want to achieve this year. Especially since the preparing for the new year in December is a disaster. Let’s get on with the books.
Before we can go on with 2019, we need to completely close 2018. Only one thing I need to do for that, is to talk about what I read in the last two months of 2018.
We’re way up into Christmas trees and presents, but here’s a belated wrap-up from October. The last couple of months I’ve been highly unmotivated and a massive reading slump has hit me. I have been hoping to end the year on a good note with some posts.
September was a good reading month. I managed to catch up a lot on my reading challenge, which gives such a nice feeling. Let’s go and see what I’ve been reading.
We’re halfway of 2018. I’m mesmerized by the speed of time. Slowly I’m starting to get my life in control, which I am extremely happy about. Now I have to keep up with it. Let’s get on to my reading of June.
And we are past march. It feels like I don’t get a lot of reading done, but I managed to read quite a lot this month. I can’t wait till the weather is getting nice, so I can sit outside and read. The weather is still terrible here. Well, let’s get to the wrap-up.
