Book Review: Alignment of Thoughts by Mihai Brinas

All of the opinions on this book are my own.

This book was provided by the author Mihai Brinas in exchange for an honest review.

So, I already reviewed the first poetry collection of Mihai Brinas, callesd Invitation to Poetry. The author offered me the second collection for review as well and I couldn’t say no.

Synopsis: This is an original book, which is challenging at the same time.It combines in one collection places, love, nature in a intriguing union.

with the chisel of imagination
i sculpt in my imagination
a poem
which then i hang on
your ear
just like an earring
so you can hear my thoughts

This collections contains 74 poems of a relatively short length. I love the way the author used metaphors in his poetry. Like the first collection the poems are not difficult to understand, which makes it so much more enjoyable to read these poems. I get a bit bored or disencouraged when I don’t understand what I’m reading, especially with poems since I often find them harder to understand.

Invitations to poetry was more about nature and earth, while I feel Alignment of Thoughts is more about love and feelings. Love was the central theme in my opinion, though others can think differently about it. I believe art and poetry can be interpreted  differently by everyone.

Overall I thought this was another great collection of poems by Mihai Brinas. For beginners of reading poetry, I highly recommend the poetry collections of Mihai. The poems are easy to understand and have understandable topics.

I gave this 4/5 stars. Check out Mihai Brinas on Goodreads and check out Alignment of Thoughts if you feel like it.

Happy reading everyone!
